The authors are former U.S. Consular Officers and licensed immigration attorneys who have helped hundreds of international students successfully navigate the F-1 visa process.

Does taking this course guarantee that I will pass my F-1 visa interview?

Unfortunately, no one can guarantee approval of your U.S. visa (and if someone says they can, you should run the other way!). While taking this course will maximize your chances of getting your visa approved, there is no guarantee.

Why was this course created?

When Mandy and Travis Feuerbacher were former U.S. Consular Officers (also known as “Visa Officers”), they adjudicated over 160,000 visa applications over many years at U.S. Consulates overseas. Through these interactions, they gained a deep understanding for how Visa Officers conduct interviews and ultimately reach their decisions. They witnessed many international students fail at their interview due to poor preparation or bad advice from others. After retiring from government service, they decided to launch their immigration law firm which focused specifically on consulate interview strategy. After helping hundreds of international students, they came up with a tried and true step-by-step guide on how students can communicate more effectively at their visa interview to maximize their chances of success. They decided to create the ZF Visa Guides so they could help even more international students achieve their dreams of studying in the United States.
